🤯The BIG stories🤯

Elon Musk Twitter GIF - Elon Musk Twitter - Discover & Share GIFs

Right, I have no idea where to start or end with the Twitter takeover. The story is evolving quicker than Weedle in Pokemon. Elon Musk has signed on the dotted line, brought in his team of venture bros, and is using polls-plus conversations with celebrities to decide the fate of the blue-tick verification. Oh, and advertisers are starting to pack their bags…

What a whirlwind it’s already been. Famous people, journalists and twitfluencers who post those ridiculous threads about productivity are up in arms as they have to pay to create content for the world’s richest man. I imagine lots of advertisers will be pausing for now…

😎Cool & Creativ3😎

This AI start up has been doing the rounds, apparently pulling in $10k a day from chumps like me who love messing with this sh*t! They also have GPU & server costs of $8k a day, which is really impressive 😅

📚Studies & Research📚

Metaverse Meme: What is the best one? Find out

“The metaverse is a naïve joke, its hype and expectations are about to crumble, but the idea of a world where the internet and reality are one is key.” Phwoar! Tom Goodwin doesn’t pull any punches in his recent thought piece and really backs the sentiment in the market currently - what is it/how do we define it?

Crikey it’s hard to keep up, isn’t it? The sentiment in the market right now is that we just have no bloody idea what is going to happen here and the lack of definition is killing the hype, not to mention Meta’s stock plummeting. But, the one piece of connective tissue that everyone agrees on? The next evolution of the internet will be immersive.

🤓Technology & Tracking?/h2>    Ohhhh damn! Spotify are going all in on Apple, even creating a special website just to call them out on the monopolistic ways with the app-store. What’s going on? Well Spotify, like Amazon, can’t sell books or audiobooks via their apps as they pay a 30% fee to Apple - which is pretty crazy. Oh, and there’s bad news ahead for Meta too with the new app store guidelines…

For Meta, they(Apple) are changing their in-app payment system, meaning that those users who pay to boost content will be paying 30% to Apple - which will make a serious dent in Meta’s ad business. And for Spotify, well, they’re going to have to sell audiobooks on their site like Amazon to circumvent the app store guidelines. Bad times for everyone but Apple
