Crikey, the news on Friday was big. Public Ad Tech companies saw double-digit increases, marketers briefed a sigh of relief and the sun came out in Melbourne. Oh, and Google is also facing an antitrust probe in the EU - it’s almost as if this all aligns…
One of these is a lie. Interesting to see that many saw FLoC as not ready, privacy concern and were expecting Google to mess this up, for once. Obviously, a moving story, that I’ll keep you up to date with! Credit to Ari Paparo for the meme.

In a shocking turn of events, TikTok - the Chinese-owned social media app - is under tight control from Bytedance. Raising questions about cybersecurity and data governance, especially alongside these recent changes…In other news, bears poop in the woods.
Well, who saw this coming ay? Bit of a no-brainer article, but more of a one to watch - will the US tighten security and try spin-off TikTok? Could Australia block the app in order to export Barossa Shiraz again?
